$FLOWER is the same token at the same contract address on Base and Ronin, and a deposit earns identical points on either chain. Until now the choice didn’t matter. It does now, for one reason: the free mint on September 14 happens only on Ronin, and gas for it is paid in RON.
Why Ronin, if the points are the same
A Base wallet cannot mint, however verified the trainer behind it is. Whoever deposits on Ronin has already installed the Ronin Wallet, already swapped inside it, and already holds RON — the three things a Base depositor has to set up separately in the week the mint opens. The 5 $FLOWER condition for Waves 2 and 4 is met on either chain; only the minting wallet has to be Ronin.
How to do it
Install the official Ronin Wallet, write the recovery phrase down offline, and fund it with a little RON. Swap for $FLOWER inside the wallet — check the contract address against the official deposits page first, since a copycat pair exists on Base — and send it to your own deposit address in one transfer. Then link that wallet to your Yakkamon account before the September 10 snapshot, and leave the RON in it: that is your mint-day gas.
Already on Base?
Nothing to undo. Your points are safe, the 5 $FLOWER condition is met, and there is no need to bridge anything — your deposit address accepts both chains and the mint doesn’t care where your $FLOWER sits. You just need a Ronin wallet as well: set one up, fund it with RON, link it, mint from it. This tip is not saying Base deposits are worth less, and it is not saying to move $FLOWER between chains. It is only saying the next deposit is easier on the chain you will be minting on anyway.
