WHAT I COLLECT
Three things, and only three:
- Anonymous visit statistics, through Google Analytics — but only if you agree when asked. If you decline, nothing is loaded and nothing is sent.
- Whatever you type into the contact form, which is emailed to me so I can reply.
- Whatever you type into the “Ask me anything” chat, which is sent off to generate an answer and then not kept (see below).
There are no accounts, logins or profiles. There is nothing here to sign into, so there is no database of you to keep.
ANALYTICS
I use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people actually read. That genuinely shapes what gets written — the deposit guides exist because the deposit pages were the most-read on the site.
It records things like which page you landed on, roughly where in the world you are, and whether you came from search, X or Telegram. Your IP address is anonymized. I can’t see who you are, and I never try to.
Google’s own handling of that data is covered by their privacy policy.
THE CONTACT FORM
The contact form passes your message through Web3Forms, which emails it to my inbox at yakkamonworld@gmail.com. That means your name, email address and message pass through their servers on the way to me.
I keep those emails so I can follow up, and I don’t add you to any list. If you’d rather skip the form entirely, email me directly — same inbox, one fewer party involved.
THE “ASK ME ANYTHING” CHAT
The chat bar at the bottom of every page answers questions from the official Yakkamon docs, this site and the dev-stream digest. Your question, and the last few messages of the same conversation, go to a small Cloudflare Worker I run and from there to Anthropic, whose Claude model writes the reply. Anthropic’s handling of that text is covered by their privacy policy.
I don’t store your questions. The only things kept are daily totals — how many times the chat was opened, how many questions were asked, and how often the follow buttons were tapped — and, for a few hours, cached answers to questions that were asked word-for-word before. None of it is linked to you. The conversation itself lives in your browser tab and disappears when you close it, and a small counter of how many questions you’ve asked today stays in your browser so I can ask you to follow the site after the free ones — that counter never leaves your device. Please don’t type personal details, wallet addresses or seed phrases into it; the helper will never ask for them.
REFERRAL LINKS
Some links on this site to yakkamon.com carry my access code, YAKKA-UDBVPX. I’d rather tell you than not.
- It costs you nothing. Pre-registration is free either way.
- You get something for it — registering with a code gets you a Gold Box in game.
- I earn leaderboard points when someone registers through it. That’s the only way this site earns anything at all.
- You can ignore it entirely. Go to yakkamon.com directly and register without a code, or use somebody else’s. Nothing here changes.
I don’t take payment for coverage, I don’t run ads, and no referral arrangement affects what I write — including when I’m critical of the game, which I have been.
WHAT I DON’T DO
- No ads, and no advertising trackers of any kind.
- No selling or sharing of anything, to anyone, ever.
- No cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting.
- No embeds. YouTube videos are linked, never embedded — so YouTube doesn’t see you unless you click through.
- No wallet connection. I will never ask you to connect a wallet, sign a transaction, or enter a seed phrase. Anyone claiming to be me and asking for that is a scammer.
This is an unofficial fan project run by one person. I have no access to your Yakkamon account, your points or your deposits, and I can’t change anything in the game.
YOUR CHOICES
You can change your mind about analytics at any time:
Turning it off removes the script from every page on this site immediately. Your browser’s own “do not track” and ad-blocker settings work here too — I don’t attempt to defeat either.
Want your contact-form message deleted from my inbox? Ask me and I’ll delete it.
