The Free-to-Play Guide to Early Access

You can reach early access without spending anything. You cannot reach the top of the leaderboard without spending — a 50,000 $FLOWER deposit is worth 70,000 points, which is more than a hundred days of perfect free play. This guide is about playing the game that's actually winnable: hitting the thresholds that matter, on a routine that costs about two minutes a day.

The two thresholds

Everything between them is a question of which wave you get in, not whether you get in at all.

Set your target by how much reach you have. Top 5,000 is where an airdrop starts and is comfortably achievable on the routine below. Top 2,000 now earns a Genesis Legendary — the line moved out from rank 1,000 on August 12, which makes a Legendary twice as reachable as it was. Referrals are uncapped, so this is not a paid-only bracket.

These are worth 55 points and they never come round again. More importantly, one of them gates the single best reward on the board.

Get verified. Not optional and not the same as signing up. The mid-September free mint runs on a verified whitelist — an unverified account can't mint no matter how fast you click. Do this first, today, so there's time to fix problems.
Link a wallet — 10 points. You'll need a Ronin wallet for the mint anyway, so this kills two birds.
Connect X — 10 points. Also unlocks the weekly X post quest.
Join the Discord — 10 points.
Post in Discord five times — 5 points each, capped at 25. Do the five, then stop; further posts earn nothing.
Start your nurture streak today. Every day you delay is a day the streak isn't climbing.

Every day — two minutes

Tap your egg three times. That's the whole routine, and it's the backbone of a free run: about 526 points between now and the free mint.

Do it after 12:00 UTC. The 36-hour grace period only covers a whole missed day if you nurtured in the second half of the UTC day — the reasoning is here.
Streaks pay 6 points a day at the start and 10 a day from day 30. Breaking one drops you back to 6 and costs about 44 points climbing back.
Set a repeating alarm. This single habit outperforms every other free action except referrals and the mint.

Every week — five minutes

Post on X — 20 points the first time, rising with your posting streak. Over eight weeks that's 160–220 points for about forty minutes of total effort.
Check the weekly board. Weekly rank resets every week and pays a resource box, food box, raffle ticket and loot box. A free player earning 70–100 points in a week is competing against everyone else's weekly total, not their all-time one — which makes weeklies far more winnable than the final ranking.

The one date that matters: the mid-September mint

Update, September 2, 2026 — the mint changed shape. The official free mint page now gives a date and a structure: September 14 on the Ronin Launchpad, in five waves gated by your leaderboard rank at a September 10 snapshot — top 1,000 guaranteed, then ranks 1–10,000 (with 5 $FLOWER deposited), a Ronin-gamers wave, ranks 1–20,000 (with 5 $FLOWER), and ranks 1–50,000 for whatever is left. Outside Wave 1 it is fastest-click, one NFT per wave per account, and 68 Legendaries are hidden in the 10,000. Updated August 14. The official docs moved the free mint from October 1st to mid-September. The point totals below were built around an October 1st date, so treat them as upper bounds — you have roughly two fewer weeks of daily nurture before the mint. The full revised schedule →

250 points for one click. Update, September 13: the 250 is paid per mint, not once per trainer — though a player who never deposits is only on Wave 5, and on Wave 3 if they play Ronin games, so the free ceiling is 250–500. The points appear on the dashboard once the minting period has ended, not on mint day — why your total won’t move on the 14th. The free mint is the best value on the entire board — more than three referrals, or half of everything else a free player earns in two months. You pay only the Ronin network fee, a few cents. If you do exactly one thing from this guide, do this. You must be verified beforehand.

Referrals are the whole free game — with an asterisk now

Updated August 14: referrals past your fifth are no longer free. They now pay 75 points instead of 30, but from the sixth onward the friend must link a wallet and deposit 100 $FLOWER of their own. The numbers below assume you can find people willing to do that. A strictly free player — no money, and friends with no money — tops out at the first five referrals, so around 1,365 points by the mint window rather than 2,490. What changed and who it hits →

This is the part most free players underrate. Every other free action is capped by the calendar — you can't nurture twice a day or post twice a week. Referrals aren't capped at all. At 75 points each they scale as far as your reach does: about 66 valid referrals is worth the same as a 5,000 $FLOWER deposit. But they are no longer a free lever past your fifth — see the warning below.

Your first five referrals are instant and stay genuinely free — they pay the moment your friend signs up. From the sixth onward your friend must link a wallet and deposit 100 $FLOWER of their own before the points land. Here's what a realistic run to the mint actually looks like, with 50 referrals:

Referrals are now 79% of this total — but only the first five of them are free. The other 45 each depend on a friend depositing 100 $FLOWER.

Real people only, and past your fifth they have to spend. After your first five, a referral only counts once that friend has linked a wallet and deposited 100 $FLOWER of their own. Referral points stay provisional until a final review. Unverified sign-ups, alt accounts, shared wallets, bots and dormant accounts all get stripped out — and removed referrals are deducted from your total, which can pull your rank down. Serious abuse disqualifies the account — and with a 100 $FLOWER deposit behind every referral past your fifth, faking them now costs real money as well as risk.

What to ignore

Discord posting past the 25-point cap. It pays nothing after five posts.
Chasing the top 100. That band is decided by 50,000-scale deposits — 70,000 points, or roughly 2,300 referrals. The bands below it are genuinely contestable; this one isn't.
Points beyond a band edge. Rank 4,999 and rank 1,500 get identical rewards. Once you're comfortably inside a band, extra points do nothing until the next one.
Raffle tickets as a plan. Nice when they land, but never something to organize your week around.

These are point totals, not ranks. Nobody outside the team knows what score lands in which band — that depends on how many people play and how hard they push. Treat the table as a measure of your own effort, not a prediction of your finish.
