TRAINER TIPS

Practical tactics for the pre-registration leaderboard — worked through with real numbers, not vibes.

Read this first. These are our own reading of the published rules, not official advice, and not financial advice. $FLOWER is real money — only you can decide whether to deposit any of it. Everything below assumes you have already decided to deposit, and is only about when.

1. DEPOSIT $FLOWER EARLY, AND IN SINGLE LARGER TRANSFERS

▶ Read this tip as an article →
Updated August 7, 2026 — this tip previously said the opposite. Until the first dev stream, the bonus appeared to follow your cumulative deposited total, which made splitting deposits across weeks free. The team has since described a different structure: a weekly multiplier that decays, and a size bonus applied per deposit. Both reward depositing early and in bigger single transfers. We've rewritten this tip rather than quietly editing it. What changed →

If you plan to deposit $FLOWER, when you send it and how many transfers you split it into both change how many points you get. Two separate bonuses are in play, and they push in the same direction.

Bonus one: the weekly multiplier decays

Every $FLOWER earns points, and the rate depends on which week you deposit in. The opening week pays , and the rate falls by 0.2× every week until it settles at 1× and stops dropping.

WeekDatesRate
1Aug 10–163.0×
2Aug 17–232.8×
3Aug 24–302.8× — held
4Aug 31 – Sep 62.6×
5Sep 7–132.4×
6Sep 14–202.2×
7Sep 21–272.0×
8Sep 28 – Oct 41.8×
9Oct 5–111.6×
10Oct 12–181.4×
11Oct 19–251.2×
12+Oct 26 onward1.0× — the floor
Updated August 24 — week 3 stays at 2.8×. Depositing was paused during week 2, so rather than dropping to 2.6×, the team held the week 3 multiplier at 2.8×. The 0.2× weekly step resumes from week 4, which pushes every later week — and the 1.0× floor — one week later than originally scheduled.

On the second dev stream the team acknowledged deposits may close while the multiplier is still around 1.2×, so the 1.0× floor may never actually be reached. What else changed →

The rates are official — including the week-3 hold at 2.8×. The week boundaries are our own calculation from the Aug 10 opening, so check the deposit panel if a date is borderline for you.

The multiplier applies to points, not your balance. You still hold the same $FLOWER and can withdraw or spend it in-game once access opens.

Bonus two: the size bonus is per deposit

On top of the multiplier, larger deposits earn bonus points. The rate doubles at every step, up to +80% at 50,000 $FLOWER — and it's calculated on the size of a single transfer, not on your running total.

Single depositBonus ratePoints in the opening week
50 $FLOWER+10%150 +5 bonus
500 $FLOWER+20%1,500 +100 bonus
5,000 $FLOWER+40%15,000 +2,000 bonus
50,000 $FLOWER+80%150,000 +40,000 bonus
The full amount must land in one go. Split deposits each earn their own smaller bonus — so 25 $FLOWER followed by another 25 does not reach the 50 tier, and ten deposits of 500 earn ten 20% bonuses instead of one 40% bonus.

What waiting costs you

Same 5,000 $FLOWER, one transfer, different weeks:

Deposited inTotal pointsVersus week one
Week 1 (3.0×)17,000
Week 3 (2.8×)16,000−1,000
Week 6 (2.2×)13,000−4,000
Week 12 (1.0×)7,000−10,000

What splitting costs you

Same 5,000 $FLOWER, all inside the opening week:

How you send itTotal pointsLost
One transfer of 5,00017,000
Ten transfers of 50016,000−1,000
A hundred transfers of 5015,500−1,500
Both mistakes together. Ten deposits of 500 made after the multiplier bottoms out earn 6,000 points — against 17,000 for a single 5,000 transfer in the opening week. That's a 65% loss on identical money.

What that means in practice

  • Deposit in the opening week if you can. 3× is the highest rate there will ever be, and it falls 0.2× every week after.
  • Send it in one transfer rather than several, so the size bonus lands on the full amount.
  • Don't hold back for a big finish. The old instinct — wait, watch the leaderboard, deposit at the end to secure a rank — is exactly what this structure is designed to punish.
  • Minimum deposit is 5 $FLOWER, on Base or Ronin.
  • Points land in the week your deposit confirms, so send early in a week rather than at the boundary.

One thing that hasn't changed

The leaderboard is still two competitions, and that's still worth playing for:

 Final rankingWeekly ranking
Based onYour total points, all-timePoints you earned that week
ResetsNever — it accumulatesEvery week
Pays outOnce, at early access in Nov / Dec 2026Every single week until then
RewardsLegendary / Rare reward egg, early-access waveResource box, food box, raffle ticket, loot box

The difference is that deposits are no longer the way to play the weekly board. Nurture, quests, referrals and X posts all feed your weekly total, and they're spread across the whole window by nature. Log in weekly and claim your boxes — just don't hold $FLOWER back to do it.

Check it against your own dashboard. The rates above come from the official deposit panel, and the math checks out — but the week boundaries are our calculation, and the team is still tuning things. Confirm in your own deposit panel before sending, particularly if you're close to a week edge.

2. NURTURE AFTER 12:00 UTC, EVERY DAY

▶ Read this tip as an article →

Daily nurture is the main points lever for anyone not depositing, and it pays more the longer your run goes. There's also a grace period built into it — but the grace period only actually protects you if you nurture in the second half of the UTC day. That's the whole tip, and the reason is a quirk of how two separate clocks interact.

What a streak is worth

Tap your egg three times to nurture it, once a day. Each nurture pays 5 points plus a streak bonus that climbs with the run:

Streak dayPoints per day
Day 1 – 2+6
Day 3 – 4+7
Day 5 – 9+8
Day 10 – 29+9
Day 30++10

A full week at day 30+ is 70 points. Run it unbroken from early August to the free mint in mid-September — about 42 days — and daily nurture alone is worth about 526 points.

What breaking it costs

Miss the window and your next nurture starts again at day 1. You don't just lose one day — you drop from 10 points a day back to 6, and it takes 29 days to climb back to the top rate. That rebuild is 44 points you'd have banked by staying on the ladder, on top of the day you missed.

Over 57 daysPoints from nurture
Never broken526
Broken once~474
Broken four times~420

The two clocks

Two rules govern the streak, and they don't line up:

  • One nurture per day, and the day rolls over at midnight UTC.
  • You always have 36 hours from your last nurture before the run resets.

36 hours is a day and a half, which is where the “a single missed day need not cost you the streak” promise comes from. But whether it actually covers a missed day depends entirely on when in the UTC day you tapped.

DAY 1 (UTC) DAY 2 DAY 3 NURTURE 08:00 UTC 36-HOUR WINDOW Window dies inside Day 2 — you must nurture tomorrow or the run resets. NURTURE 20:00 UTC 36-HOUR WINDOW Window reaches into Day 3 — skip Day 2 entirely and the streak survives.

Same 36 hours, different protection. Nurture before noon UTC and the grace period expires before the next day is over; nurture after noon and it carries you past it.

Why noon UTC is the line

Nurture at time T and your deadline is T plus 36 hours. For that deadline to land past the end of the next day, T has to be at least 12:00 UTC. Tap at 08:00 and your window closes at 20:00 the following day — you're still on the hook tomorrow. Tap at 20:00 and it closes at 08:00 the day after — you can miss a whole day and be fine.

12:00 UTC is…Local time
Los Angeles5:00 AM
New York8:00 AM
São Paulo9:00 AM
London1:00 PM
Berlin2:00 PM
Istanbul3:00 PM
Mumbai5:30 PM
Manila8:00 PM
Tokyo9:00 PM
Sydney10:00 PM
The practical version. In the Americas almost any waking-hours nurture already clears noon UTC, so you're fine by default. In Europe, Asia and Australia it's the opposite — a morning nurture is before the cutoff and leaves you no slack at all. If you're east of London, make it an evening habit.

Practical notes

  • Nurturing late one day and early the next is fine — they're different UTC days, so both count and the run continues.
  • The 36-hour grace is a safety net, not a schedule. Using it every other day means you're nurturing half as often and earning half as many points.
  • Nurture points feed your weekly total as well as your all-time one, so a consistent run helps in both competitions at once.
  • Set a repeating alarm for the same time each evening. That single habit is worth more than any other free action on the board.
  • Be realistic about scale: 526 points over 57 days is a fraction of what a large $FLOWER deposit pays. It's the best free lever there is, not a way to out-earn capital.

3. YOUR DEPOSIT IS ALSO YOUR LAUNCH WAR-CHEST

▶ Read this tip as an article →

Most people deposit $FLOWER for the points. The official deposit page now describes a second return on the same money: a run of early-access-only offers that can only be bought with a balance that is already in the game when the doors open. Depositing now earns the points and books your seat for those.

What the docs say your balance buys at launch

Discounted Gems“Gems at early access rates — the best pricing we’ll offer”Early access
VIP accessUnlock VIP status and its perksEarly access
Exclusive itemsLaunch-window gear, cosmetics and collectibles “you won’t be able to pick up later”Early access
AuctionsBid $FLOWER on rare and one-off itemsChapter 0 (one month after early access)
The in-game economyCrafting materials, hunting supplies, gearFrom early access

Source: the official $FLOWER Deposits page. Prices and quantities are unpublished; the docs call the offers “time-limited and, in the case of auctions and exclusive items, limited in supply too”, and say more will be announced before early access.

The line that matters, in the team’s words: “Trainers who arrive with $FLOWER ready are the ones who get first pick.” A balance you deposit in September is sitting in the game on launch day. One you meant to top up in December is competing with everyone else’s deposit at 1.0× — if deposits are still open at all.

What this changes about how you deposit

  • Don’t size your deposit on points alone. The same $FLOWER pays twice: leaderboard points now, first pick of the launch offers later. If you were going to buy Gems or VIP anyway, the $FLOWER for that is better deposited now at 2.6× than held back.
  • Don’t plan to pull it straight back out. Withdrawals open at Chapter 0, a month after early access — December or January at the earliest — and the docs warn of percentage-based withdrawal limits in the first weeks. Money you need this year should not go in.
  • Keep some of the balance unspent for Chapter 0. Auctions are the one offer that is both time- and supply-limited and arrives a month after everything else. A trainer who spends the whole balance on day one has nothing to bid.
  • Early access wave still gates all of this. The offers are available to trainers who are in the game. Wave 4 has no confirmed date, so a rank inside the top 20,000 (Wave 3) is worth more than the offers table suggests.
Our reading, not the docs’. The official page lists the offers and says they are limited; it does not say what they cost or how many there are. Treat “first pick” as the promise, and the rest of this tip as the obvious consequence of it. We will update the table when prices land.

4. DEPOSIT ON RONIN IF YOU HAVEN’T YET

▶ Read this tip as an article →
Update, September 10 — the snapshot has been taken. The whitelists were taken from the leaderboard at 01:00 UTC on September 10 and are final, so a deposit made now no longer changes which wave you are in. Check the wallet linked to your account at yakkamon.com/whitelist. The rest of this tip still applies to the wallet you mint from: it has to be the linked Ronin wallet, holding a little RON for gas, and Ronin stays the simpler chain for any further deposit. Wave times and the checker →

$FLOWER is the same token at the same contract address on Base and Ronin, and a deposit earns identical points on either chain. Until now the choice didn’t matter. It does now, for one reason: the free mint on September 14 happens only on Ronin, and gas for it is paid in RON. If you have not deposited yet, doing it on Ronin means the wallet, the swap and the RON are all in place before mint day, instead of being a separate job the week it matters.

Why Ronin, if the points are the same

Contract address on both chains: 0x3E12b9d6A4D12cd9b4a6d613872d0Eb32f68b380. Check it against the official deposits page before you swap — a copycat FLOWER pair exists on Base.

How to do it

  • Install the official Ronin Wallet (browser extension or mobile), write the recovery phrase down offline, and fund it with a little RON — bought inside the wallet or withdrawn from an exchange that supports Ronin.
  • Swap for $FLOWER inside Ronin Wallet, then send it to your own deposit address from the yakkamon.com deposit panel. Minimum 5 $FLOWER; one transfer rather than several, for the size bonus.
  • Mint from the Ronin wallet that was linked to your Yakkamon account at the September 10 snapshot (01:00 UTC). The whitelist was built from that address, so it is the one that is allowed to mint — confirm it on the checker rather than assuming.
  • Leave the RON in it. That is your mint-day gas. Every wave now has a published opening hour — 00:00 UTC for Waves 1, 2 and 5, 08:00 UTC for Waves 3 and 4 — so buy the RON the day before, not at wave open.

Already deposited on Base?

Nothing to undo. Your points are safe, the 5 $FLOWER condition is met on either chain, and there is no need to bridge anything — your deposit address accepts both chains, and the mint doesn’t care where your $FLOWER sits. You just need a Ronin wallet as well — the one that was linked to your account at the September 10 snapshot: fund it with RON, check which waves it is on, and mint from that. Any further deposits are simpler from Ronin, for the same reasons above.

Two things this tip is not saying. It is not saying Base deposits are worth less — they aren’t. And it is not saying to move existing $FLOWER between chains — that costs fees and changes nothing. It is only saying that the next deposit you make is easier on the chain you will be minting on anyway.
